Lead HR - Talent Management - IT (8-12 yrs)

MindGen Solutions is a recruitment firm and specializes in hiring managerial and leadership talents across technologies and domains.

We have an opportunity for a Lead HR - Talent Management for one of our client, which provides revenue management and business assurance solutions for financial institutions and digital and communications services providers.

- This position will be based in Trivandrum and will report to the Head of HR. The Lead, Talent Management will create and implement talent management programs and products designed to increase organizational effectiveness. While the role has strategic elements, vital to the role is the person’s ability to execute mid-to large scale projects and initiatives.

- This position will drive various aspects of talent management platform including: creating and executing development programs, driving talent reviews, succession planning, managing performance management and objective setting processes, competency modeling, and career development initiatives.

Performance Management:

- Provide support in managing the performance appraisal and objective setting process.

- Own the performance management process, make recommendations for programs/initiative designed to reward and recognize employees.

- Lead evaluation and recommendation best in class cloud based performance management solution to track goals, performance, performance reviews, etc. Implement solution and process across employees and supervisors.

- Refine the performance management process to promote consistent and timely meritocracy and ensure it is documented and communicated and understood by all employees and candidates.

- Brief talent managers on common themes for administering performance management and how to leverage tools to ensure consistent best practices across company.

- Refine approach to turnaround or manage remedial performance management situations.

- Gather, review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and engagement

Talent Review Process:

- Enhance the tools and processes used to support Talent Review initiatives, which include the accurate identification of high potential talent

- Analyze and synthesize data from talent review sessions into meaningful conclusions that enhance fact-based talent decision-making; report key talent metrics.

- Manage post-talent review processes that ensure proper follow through of actions determined at talent review sessions.

- Define competencies and experience required for specific jobs and levels.

Talent Development:

- Develop training programs across all facets of the business to develop employee skills and knowledge (Developing trainings and incorporate external partners as needed).

- Partner with division leads to define and develop a scalable resource strategy.

Mentoring:

- Provide coaching and consulting to managers and employees in the areas of performance management, performance counselling, compensation, employee retention, talent planning, leader development, and employee development.

Career Development Framework:

- Studying/analyzing operational performance and organizational goals; develop direction for long-term employee development

- Supports client group with the management development of their people, providing guidance and ad-hoc training on development plans.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- MBA with around 8 - 12 years of HR talent management and development experience.

- Experience and knowledge of managing talent review and performance management processes.

- Strong client relationship management skills and ability to effectively work with all levels.

- Ability to see the big picture but also work within the details when executing projects.

- Excellent strategic thinking and tactical implementation skills.

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple priorities.

- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills (ability to translate data into conclusions).

- Excellent verbal and written skills.
