Description : The candidate will be focused on the effective and efficient distribution of products and services to customers. He/She will be responsible to plan, develop, and implement programs to manage Distribution Centre (DC) operations and coordinate movement of product from DC to different doors spread across India that result in customer satisfaction.

Job Description :

- Manage the DC Operations and focus on overall planning (short to medium term), improving productivity, cost, compliance levels and managing 3PL service provider

- Have good knowledge of warehouse practices with regard to inbound, fulfilment, outbound, shipping, inventory and returns management.

- Plan and co-ordinate the national movement of goods, including reverse logistics

- Ensure that products and service requirements is handled on time and in line with customer needs

- Review the performance of the 3PL and drive accountability

- Engage with x-functional teams to drive operational performance, compliance etc.

Profile :

- 5-7 years (relevant) working preferably in a warehouse & logistics area

- Preferably managed a team of 2-3 people

- Graduate, Post Graduate in Operations Management will be an added advantage

- Technically savvy with an interest in reporting and systems

- Ability to think creatively, innovative and self-motivated

- Ability to work as a Team Player; to work within tight deadlines and take initiatives on multiple projects.

- Ability to multitask and work effectively especially x-functionally under changing priorities and deadlines

- MS Office skills; Advanced in SAP & WMS systems & it's interfaces

- Travel to the DC location, as per Business requirement
