Lead - Data Scientist - Machine Learning - Financial Captive

A leading US based Captive company in Financial space looking for Machine learning professionals.

Location: Bengaluru / Chennai

Role Description

The incumbent will work closely with business and technology teams developing and supporting analytical data solutions for the Retail Financial Services arm. Responsibilities include

- Work with technical and business partners on technical solutions

- Produce concise and clear technical specifications and other related technical documentation

- Preparing solid analytics design

- Building model.

- Support the Data Science practice

Candidate Description

Primary Skills:

- Strong in patterns of machine learning and other distance algorithms.

- Strong statistical concept.

- Application of Statistical Analysis on Big Data.

- Statistical analytics with Na- ve Bayes, Hidden Markov Model, Apriori algorithm, Chi Square etc

- Expertise on some of the tools - Python, Java, SCALA, MLLIB.

Desired Skills:

- Non statistical machine learning concepts.

- Preferred to have knowledge on Hadoop based technologies such as MapReduce, Hive, Hbase, PIG

- Programming or scripting languages like Shell Script, Perl Script, Python

- Experience with project life cycle methodologies across multiple platforms and technologies
