Founded in 2006 we have worked with and served 300+ Organizations across Industries and Verticals. 	 Location: Gurgaon   Job Summary  Reporting to VP Consulting, the Lead Consultant performs and supervises assignments involving concepts of Supply Chain Strategy, Optimization of Logistical Systems, and Infrastructure planning. The successful Candidate will lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, gather and analyze facts, develop recommendations, and prepare and present reports.   Job role will involve supervision of Senior/Project Consultants and Business Analysts.  Key Responsibilities  He or She is key Future Leader for the Company and will be a part of second layer management with following break up of responsibilities:  - Project execution and concept developments  - People Management and work/task allocation  - Critical work package execution on own  - People Management and skills development  - Support business unit’s acquisition targets and manage good client relationship  - Business unit strategy development support  - Straddle multiple roles involved in building a consulting practice in one of the identified sectors including business development, client relationship management, team building, mentorship and project delivery  - Own P&L responsibility for the practice  - Develop and manage client relationships supported by good quality advice and deliverables  - Contribute to thought leadership; represent the practice in public fora; conceptualize and contribute to thought leading content  - Build and manage a team to meet current and future client needs  - Identify, define and establish internal systems and processes that ensure client deliverables of the highest quality, address risks and improve team productivity and efficiency  - Be part of the team that contributes towards developing the domestic and global strategy for the consulting practice at ThinkLink  Key Skills  - Specific core domain knowledge, well experienced in many projects in the same domain (SCM/Infrastructure)  - Strong in project structure and concept development  - Good industry networking and ability to engage senior client management in discussions on our offerings, emerging issues in the relevant sector  - Strong business acumen  - Aware of corporate strategy development and business plan development  - Experience in consulting to corporations and/or multilaterals and/or government  - Strong exposure to inclusive business/BOP/Social enterprise/Impact investing spaces  - Ability to engage senior client management in discussions on our offerings, emerging issues in the relevant sector  - Demonstrated ability to lead people; build and motivate a team for greater performance  Key Project Specific Skills: Supply Chain / Logistics  He or She should be strong on the following domain knowledge   - Supply Chain Optimization (Supply Chain Strategy , Inventory Optimization)  - Facility Layout and Engineering (Logistics Parks, DC’s, Cold Chain, FTWZ)  - Integrated Material Handling Solution and Re-Engineering  - Transport Optimization  - Sound in proposal writing and structure with only 5% input from VP Consulting / MD  - Project management and Leadership Skills are a pre-requisite  - Hands on knowledge of Supply Chain Tools ,Simulation Tools, Project Management Tools, Systems is preferred  - Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.  Education Requirements   - Bachelors Degree in Engineering (IIT's & Tier 1 Engineering Colleges only)  - MBA Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics / Engineering (preferred)  - Any relevant industry specific Certifications/Memberships (desirable  Experience Requirements  - 7-10 years of prior experience of working in Supply Chain/ Logistics domain  - Experience in a Supply Chain Consulting environment a definite plus.  - Exposure to tools for Supply Chain analysis, design, modeling and planning is desirable  - Demonstrated Project Management skills are a must  Personal Characteristics  - Hard Working and Confident  - High on Integrity  - Willingness to “do what it takes”  - Passionate about creating value and impact for the client  - Impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach  - Excellent communication skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities  To apply please write with an updated CV, current location and compensation details
