Accelerating growth momentum, increasing profitability, and powering up our value proposition are key objectives for the GCS organization.   - The Global Business Performance (GBP) organization, within GCS, is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives through its segment team Business Solutions & Analytics (BS&A).   - BS&A Data Strategy & Governance team is looking to set up a team that will help provide high quality customer service to internal users of SAGE (BI platform) and Sales Incentive Tool users, as well as to the overall GCS data user community.   - The team key purpose will be to assure compliance with all policies regarding user access along with helping improve data quality, consistency, timeliness and usability.   Teamwork:   - Liaise with onshore counterparts on report requirement and developing reports within the timelines agreed   - Ensure support is provided to as per requirement from onshore counterparts   - Ensure integrity and management of data submission good teamwork skills are vital as an important aspect of the role concerns liaising with various teams in the Regulatory Reporting department.   - This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.   Qualifications:  Skills/Experience Required:   - No of years as per GBP standards (Suggested 5+ years of experience)   - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree relevant to the industry.   - Other credentials will be a plus.   - Strong Hands-on experience using Microstrategy Suite of products would be a plus.   - Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and experience with MS Access. Good understanding of various data management/processing technologies; ability to reverse engineer and replicate the process.   - Experience in RDBMS Concepts, SDLC Project Methodologies, ability to interpret requirements, build testable test cases, validate and interpret results   - Provide Outage Resolution Support. This includes investigation of outage cause, impact on user, and resolution   - Provide and Maintain Application Availability. This includes ensuring that the application is active and operating as defined in any Service Level Agreements   - Monitor Application in Production Environment. This includes the periodic monitoring of servers, applications, etc. through the use of manual and automated means   - Facilitate outage investigation/restoration of service to Production Environment. Organize any conference call, meetings, etc. needed to facilitate the investigation of Production outages/problems and the subsequent restoration of service   - Schedule and track application software updates in Production Environment. Use the current Change Management Process and tool to create and distribute work orders associated with application software updates.   - Communicate status of application production outages. Provide periodic pages/e-mails/phone calls, etc. to application community on the status of any error resolution activities during an outage   - Monitor system security, application and system event log files. Communicate and work with users as necessary to resolve application errors   - Establish, monitor and evaluate system metrics to identify vulnerabilities and identify problem trends. Monitor disk status, system processes, and user process activity   - Provide operational support, ensuring production systems and devices are online and available; this includes non-business hours on-call support   - Participate in design reviews to verify that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements. Make recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the application.   - Maintain Disaster Recovery Plans. Assist in administering the recovery of applications. Performance tune MicroStrategy reports and documents to ensure optimal performance and system resource utilization. Develop reporting solutions ranging from simple grid reports to complex multi-paneled, interactive flash dashboards.   - Develop complex metrics utilizing MicroStrategy   - Working experience of MicroStrategy 8.x /9.x Desktop, Report Services, OLAP Services   - Should possess strong architectural, communication skills, be goal oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to produce results   - Knowledge of both Entity Relational Models, and Dimensional Models   - In-depth understanding and knowledge of Star Schema and Snowflake schema; Working knowledge of all Microstrategy components; Strong knowledge of Objects, Prompts, and Dashboarding Techniques   Soft Skills:   - Team-working and experience working in a project environment and a flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple project managers across multiple geographies   - Has experience in working in a global environment and ideally has worked internationally   - Ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders of different seniority and geographical location   - Strong attention to detail and being solution oriented   - Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience   - Working knowledge of Banking systems and understanding of relevant regulatory reporting framework preferable  Shift Timings: 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM
