The HR business partnership will be ably supported by respective centers of excellence in HR.  Job Purpose :  Partner with businesses in helping them achieve their business goals by ensuring fulfillment of their people needs.  Key Responsibilities:  - Build thorough understanding of business goals and clear identification of relevant people needs.  - Translating people needs in action by setting HR processes in close co-ordination with HR CoEs& internal clients.  - Act as a single point of contact for the internal clients & successfully sell HR projects to support building a culture of excellence.  - Manage entire employee life cycle (hire to retire) in accordance to set guidelines & with support from CoEs.  - Act as advisor to businesses in helping them manage people related matters from time to time.  - Act as project manager for large cross functional change management projects in the organization.  - Keep HR processes in full compliance to legal & regulatory (internal, external) framework.  - Feedback businesses to deliver more by advising on fresh ideas gathered as a consequence of being a people champion.  Skills & Knowledge :  - High flexibility to work in an 8 year old startup (LAVA) operating in a fast evolving market.  - Ability to approach problems from a realm of possibilities with focus on clear & time bound actionable/results.  - Should have focus on building credibility & influencing without authority.  - Genuinely interested in people, someone who is easy to work with&wards off negativity.  - Self-starter, persistent in approach & not deterred by failures.  - Open to working cross functional teams &inherently discourages silos.  - Preference for candidates with experience in design of talent management initiatives.  - Preference for candidates who are well networked within HR fraternity.
