To lead the Human Resources function and team for manufacturing and (i) establish a Highly Productive and disciplined work culture and (ii) best in class People related processes and systems in the Lava Manufacturing Organization.  Lava's manufacturing Organization consists of 2 Assembly Plants in Noida with a total capacity of 2.5 million units per month. The current Headcount is 2700 and shall increase to 5000 in the next 9-12 months. There are plans of building integrated manufacturing plants at Yamuna Expressway and Telangana in the next 30-36 months.  Roles and Responsibilities :  HR Processes : Design and implement (i) the Recruitment process (ii) Employee Records (iii) Compensation and Benefit plans (iv) Career paths (v) Performance Management processes (vi) of roll to on roll conversion processes for all levels of employees.  - Maintain the Job/Role Definitions for all roles and skill inventory for all employees  - Define and Implement a Reward and Recognition Scheme to build the right culture and encourage the right behaviors  Time Office : Establish and implement strong People Operations processes - Attendance, leave, incentive plans on the shopfloor; Initiatives to promote teamwork, safety, and enhance productivity  Employee Relations : Ensure strong Employee Relations by creating various communication forums for employees and ensure top down and Bottom up communication (Town halls; Small group meetings; Ideas studio, Discussion Forums). Ensure Welfare, Safety and Engagement of employees  Compliance : Take care of all Factory Related statutory Compliances- ESIC, PF, Factories Act, CLRAA, Industrial Disputes Act compliance.  Capability Building ( Training) & Culture Building initiatives for all levels including Supervisors and Managers  Employee Services : Take care of Employee Services (Housekeeping, Facilities Management, Security, and Catering) at the Manufacturing Facility and Repair factory.  Key Results Area :  - Quality of HR Policy & Process Framework : Feedback from stakeholders  - Shop-floor Culture - Discipline & Productivity ( Attendance, Punctuality, Productivity as per dashboards)  - Employee Engagement Score  - Recruitment TAT  - Off roll/ On roll Conversion ratio  - Number of Non Conformities on Compliances  - Feedback on responsiveness/Solution Orientation from the Line Managers  - Feedback on Employee Services   Major Challenges :  - Has to be involved from the Design/set up stage to execution  - Has to work closely with the Manufacturing team in some ambiguity  - Has to do things first time right to set the right culture  - Has to scale up and build capability in the team to take care of the scale
