Sr. Supply Chain Planner (Fixed Term for 6 months)

About the role :

(Possibility of 6 months extension as per the directions of the management)

- To ensure that this Planning capability is built across concepts of the group AND to enable full capture of improvement value through the Mega DC. This position needs a high energy leader, with strong business acumen, organization navigational skills plus supply chain and planning functional understanding, who will be able to drive critical business changes across planning, supply chain and IT to get the above outcomes.

Qualification / Education / Vocational Training :

- Master's or Professional degree

- Certification/ specialized training in Supply chain or planning a plus

- Demonstrated proficiency in statistical tools / theory would be preferred

- Proficiency or exposure to planning tools (e.g. APX or Oracle tools such as MFP, RMS, PLM, AP, SPO, etc. ) an advantage

Professional Experience, Skills and Capabilities :

Minimum experience : ~15 years

Industry and Functional experience :

- 15+ years mix of Supply Chain & Planning (both Demand and Supply planning)

- Retail industry (especially Apparel retailing) understanding of Planning, buying, delivery, order fulfillment processes, a must

- Exposure / experience in industrial / automated warehousing setups and associates planning systems

- Understanding of Merchandise Planning, Assortment Planning, demand forecast for Fashion & Footwear. Experience in Financial Planning, OTB, exit plans for options.

- Experience in and/or exposure to S&OP processes and procedures

- Understanding of allocation strategy based on demand plan, store grades, ROS and inventory cover strategy, ROS & DOS based Allocation Planning

- Good understanding of manufacturing, logistics and DC operations required

- Understanding of planning analytics, KPIs, reporting and performance management

- Experience with retail ERPs, material management applications

- Demonstrated capability to drive organization-wide change projects
