Designation - Junior Associate (GST)

Qualification:

- CAs/LLB/ICWA/CS with strong academic track record. Prior experience in Indirect Tax is mandatory. Additionally, article ship experience in Statutory Audit will be preferable for CAs

- Excellent Communication and Drafting Skills.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience

Job Profile:

- Basic knowledge of GST and India GST scenario

- Understanding the business processes and identifying areas of indirect tax impact

- Overall understanding of all indirect tax laws like Excise, Service Tax and VAT

- Review and auditing of the tax compliance and advising on changes to be made by the companies

- Advisory support to the companies based on latest legal developments

- Analysing various scenarios and providing tax efficient solutions

- Examining company accounts and financial control systems

- In depth understanding of ERP software like SAP, ORACLE and Tally

- Collecting, Collating, and analysing spreadsheet data - Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint skills

- Preparing reports, articles, updates and white papers on industry

Client service delivery/execution

- Executes the work on a multiple client base. Assumes near independent responsibility for smaller clients

- Develops rapport with middle layers of client management

Develops commercial and legal acumen

- Stays abreast of firm activities and general business trends

- Keeping abreast of latest judgements and legal developments.

- Brings value to the client and manager by applying this knowledge in delivering solutions to clients

Networking & Identification of opportunities:

- Begins to identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicates to manager

- Networks internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact issues with his clients
