You will get the chance to make an impact, apply your problem solving skills & domain expertise to solve the most challenging & complex marketing and advertising problems at Fortune 500 companies.  What you'll be doing in your new job :  - Provide Support and add new features in an existing e-commerce Recommendation Engine.  - Implement new algorithms for e-commerce Recommendation Engine.  - Work on Scalability and Performance of Recommendation Engine.  - Create proof of concepts to vet out new technologies.  - Influence design and architecture principles for new technology products.  - For this position, you are mandatory to have:  - At least 2 years experience in Java and Scala. Comfortable with coding in java/scala.  - Minimum 1+ year experience in Spark.  - Basic Linux Knowledge.  - Worked on Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce). Comfortable in writing Map-Reduce Code. Not Necessary to have knowledge of complete Hadoop Stack.  - Ability to debug open source framework of machine learning i.e. deep knowledge of each component of the framework.  - Ability to work in fast pace Startup environment.  Nice to Have :  - Worked in Recommendation Engine domain is more desirable.  - Worked in HBase is more desirable.  - Knowledge in H2O, Prediction.IO and Elastic Search is also more desirable. Other example - Storm, Mallet, Mahout, Kiji, etc  - At least 3 years of experience in Big Data domain.
