The Commercial Due Diligence team for Power sector is seeking to hire experienced professionals to join our growing team. The nature of our work varies, but chances are your engagement will involve some or all of the following topics: assessment of market, understanding key value drivers, review of competitive landscape, analysis of company performance, and development of strategic options, bid advisory and financial modelling. Work will be mainly in the power sectors with limited exposure to other infrastructure and mining  Our clients are the leading players in their sectors across the world, including private equity houses, corporates and banks. They will generally need our support during high profile M&A processes (both buy-side and sell-side) or a restructuring situation.  Responsibilities:  The Associate consultant/consultant would be required to:  - Carry out high quality research, interviews and analysis to support either projects or business development  - Managing assigned section of mid to large scale commercial due diligence assignments including: limited client interface and managing project risks/issues  - Review or make financial models  - Producing quality deliverables for assigned section   - Supporting various marketing initiatives and practice development activities (e.g. pitch / proposal documents development, client presentations, key client account management, industry, geography, and product programmes)  Requirements:  We are looking for people who enjoy addressing business problems in an analytical manner, who have the patience to structure decision making, and who strive to develop pragmatic recommendations, tempered by experience. Successful applicants will be/have:  - Prior relevant commercial due diligence or strategy consulting experience;  - Prior experience in the power sector and understanding of the finer workings of the sector  - Strong commercial acumen and project management capability;  - Excellent academics with a strong first degree or equivalent qualification as a minimum;  - Structural thinking, with strong analytical and business diagnostic skills;  - Comfortable with working in a high pressure deal environment with senior management;  - Enthusiastic, positive professional attitude and like to be part of the wider team  - Able to communicate and explain complex ideas concisely, on paper and in words,  - Flexibility for travel.
