Assistant Manager - M&A Strategy  - We are looking to hire an assistant manager for the KGS Strategy team. Sitting within the KGS Strategy Hub and serving as an extension of the UK Strategy National markets/ commercial due diligence team, selected candidates will support engagements across all areas of analysis and reporting.  Key responsibility areas would include :  - Working with the M&A project teams in the UK as an integrated team member throughout the project life cycle, right from the identification of the initial hypothesis, to the final recommendations on the target's commercial attractiveness  - Supporting the hypothesis(es) through adequate secondary as well as primary research.  - Research the client organization and industry; interview, conduct focus groups and facilitate workshops with client employees, management teams and other stakeholders  - Move the client to action; develop a plan to implement the strategic recommendations; manage the execution  - Be a mentor to junior team members  - Contribute in building thought leadership on specific relevant industry themes  Skills & qualifications :  - Relevant experience in M&A advisory, including commercial due diligence  - MBAs, CFAs and Engineers from a leading Indian/International educational institution  - Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types as well as working hours  - Be comfortable working to tight deadlines and demanding requirements  - Adept in analytical skills and are self-directed, team-oriented individuals who thrive on challenge.  - Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills - Ability to demonstrate how one supports the other - and sound commercial acumen  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
