B2B eCommerce Startup - Online Marketing Head

Work Location : Chennai

Role & Responsibilities :

- Brand positioning across all the major digital marketing platform

- Develop strategies that increase traffic, demand and conversion of the e-commerce platform

- Own the Marketing (Online and Offline). Thought leader on digital strategies that complement the company's traditional B2B sales and marketing efforts

- Provide expertise in developing and adapting strategies for SEM/SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Personalization, E-mail Marketing, Customer Acquisition and Retention, Social Engagement and Brand Media

- Shall provide the Marketing support to inside sales, field sales and Customer Support to help acquisition and retention of the customers

- Shall be able to do PR

- Defining success metrics and reporting needs for campaigns.

- Provide direction and directives support staff in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities, and in achieving company initiatives.

Mandatory Skills :

- Minimum of 5 + years of relevant work-experience. Experience in acquiring Indian SMEs, corporate, hotels, hospitals etc. online.

- Proven capability of driving large scale customer acquisition through digital marketing and new age marketing platforms

- Hands-on expertise paid / organic traffic sources including SEM / Social / Other paid media

- Exposure to all the effective digital marketing tool to measure the marketing progress of an e-commerce platform

- Exposure to tech environment should have experience in setting-up online marketing for a SaaS based product company

- High on analytical skills and derive actionable insights from a lot of data

- Highly proficient in product marketing with experience in digital marketing

- Role requires a strong understanding of effective marketing strategies across all major digital media channels, conversion funnel optimization with the goal of new customer acquisition

- Candidate must be metrics oriented, knowledgeable of vendors and products relevant to digital marketing and management, and aware of trends in digital media

- Willing and passionate to work in a startup environment is Must
