Position- Team Manager,Knowledge Management

Location-Gurgaon

Client- Captive unit of a leading global Consulting firm.

Eligibility Criteria- 8years+ experience in professional services firm environment with exposure to knowledge management or research with reputed firms and more than 3 years of experience in team handling.

Education-Candidates with MBA from premier/leading B schools would be preferred.

Position Responsibilities and Duties;

- Provide direct, day-to-day management of the Knowledge Associate team and broad coaching and mentoring of the Gurgaon-based Knowledge Specialists (currently 12 people)

- Ensure timely, zero-defect completion of responsibilities and duties

- Define deliverables, incorporate PA expectations & direction

- Prioritize and set deadlines

- Review work, provide feedback, ensure quality control

- Drive continuous operational improvement and excellence

- Improve and streamline processes, reports, tools (internally, within KM and PA)

- Identify, codify and share best practices across the Knowledge Associate team

- Set team and individual goals, design and track corresponding metrics

- Proactively resolve problems, remove roadblocks, escalate issues as needed

- Develop a high-performing, customer-oriented team culture

- Build relationships with Practice Area and Knowledge Management customers to understand priorities, gather feedback, and provide regular updates

- Develop professional development plans, provide coaching/training/growth opportunities, recognize accomplishments

- Design compensation and incentive systems (with HR), drive performance management processes

- Deliver semi-annual performance reviews, recommend ratings

- Shape and grow the team over time to align with Knowledge Management, Practice Area and Client's objectives

- Develop ongoing dialog with key stakeholders to understand future and changing needs

- Adapt role definitions and organizational structure accordingly

- Lead recruiting, training and induction efforts

- Act as part of the Client's leadership team; involved in steering and implementing on-the-ground office operations

- Serve as an advocate for the entire Knowledge Management team; ensure integration with other teams in the office (including the Asia Knowledge Specialists)

- Perform other related duties as assigned or as responsibilities dictate
