Opportunity with a Top Law Firm - Knowledge Management (KM) Associate/KM Manager - Corporate Law/Corporate Litigation  Location: Delhi   Qualification required: L.L.B  Designation: KM Associate / KM Manager  Job Description:  Knowledge Management (KM) Associate/KM Manager (4-6 years experience required)  The candidate should preferably have prior transactional experience of at least 4-6 years in corporate law (M&A/Private Equity etc. ) / corporate litigation or working knowledge of general corporate law issues to enable him/her to fulfill the following role:  Overall responsibilities :  1. Supporting the Head of KM in the day to day functions of the KM team and in implementation of the Firm's KM Policy.  2. Proactively identifying developments in the legal field in India and abroad and communicate these in the form of reliable and useful updates, newsletters to the firm  3. Keeping the knowhow database updated and relevant and managing and maintaining it as a reliable and easy to use source of reference for the lawyers of the firm.  Specific Responsibilities :  1. Identifying knowledge content/important legal developments and preparing case law, regulatory and legislative updates in consultation with Head of KM  2. Identifying relevant and useful content /material/information from various sources and translating it into knowledge content for internal communication  3. Preparing practice notes on legal topics and issues and/or updating content available on the knowhow database  4. Identifying knowhow requirements/expectations of lawyers, obtaining feedback and providing solutions to the same.  5. Reviewing KM contributions made by lawyers for quality, content and compliance with KM Policy and interacting with lawyers in this connection  Skills required  1. Transactional experience in corporate law (M&A) (preferable) or corporate litigation or working knowledge of general corporate law issues  2. Ability to grasp knowhow value, substantive issues covered in regulations/policies, judgments and other legal documents and to communicate the same comprehensively, effectively and simply.  3. Excellent Research skills  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to write and talk in simple, clear English  5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel  6. Knowledge of a legal document management system software (preferable)
