About our Client - Our client is one of the leading food companies in the country with an innovative range of products. They are widely regarded as pioneers in the space and have a strong presence across various channels in India. They are currently looking to add on to their already impressive presence in the key accounts business by hiring a Key Accounts Manager - Modern Trade (Mumbai).
Job Description - Reporting to the Head of Food Service Business, you will be responsible for:
- Managing National Accounts (PAN India) of Modern Trade in terms of revenue generation and relationship management.
- Maintaining relationships with existing partners and appointing new partners to ensure maximum market coverage thereby driving sales.
- Account and Brand Management besides working closely with the SCM team
- Overseeing the Category Management responsibility for the business
- Identifying current market trends and consumer behavior to develop effective strategies.
- Developing systems and processes for effective forecasting and follow up with the end clients.
- In addition to this you will also be responsible for recruiting and training a team of sales professionals, and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained at the different accounts.
The Successful Candidate:
- You will be a post graduate with around 5-10 years of experience in the FMCG/Foods industry. Prior experience of handling key accounts and category management is a must.
- The client is looking for someone with a thorough understanding of category and key accounts in the food space. You should have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
