Key Account Manager (Sales for North America Market)

Position Description :

- This individual will be responsible for generating BPO business with top tier and Tier 2 Banking Financial services + Insurance clients and prospects in North America and will closely partner with our Client Partners and Offshore Delivery team to identify and sell BPO programs leveraging their deep industry and capability knowledge.

- The role will represent a client of the company and will be the account manager for this organization and will be representing them.

- The successful candidate will bring their understanding of the BFSI industry, knowledge of Business Process Outsourcing outcomes, and business consulting leadership skills to help prospective clients develop innovative solutions, improve their operating models and execute on strategic opportunities. This role reports to the BPO Market Leader for BFSI.

Responsibilities :

- Playing a leading role in the sales process as solutions are positioned with top prospects with a specific responsibility for understanding and communicating the business value proposition

- Teaming with Client Partners, Sales Executives and Offshore Delivery Managers to pursue new business

- Analyzing and assessing the market to determine which BPO offerings are likely to best address the present and future state issues facing companies in this sector

- Increasing sales/revenue and developing/maintaining a sales pipeline in order to meet objectives

- Developing new and managing existing BPO client relationships

- Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the business development, negotiating, contracting and delivery processes

- Pursuing the leads generated by Pre-Sales team or external vendors and taking them to a logical closure.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Significant BFSI industry operational understanding and domain expertise (10+ years)

- Significant experience (10+ years) in developing, pursuing, selling either BPO or business process consulting engagements

- Proven experience managing teams and building collaborative relationships with external and internal partners

Energy :

- Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

- Understanding of the off-shore delivery model in BPO industry

- Ability to work with cross-functional team of experts, and account executives across internal functions / business units

- Demonstrable problem solving abilities with the aptitude to identify strategic solutions to business problems

- Strong professional executive presence

- Executive level written and verbal communication skills, team leadership and deal making experience

- Bachelor's Degree

- Readiness to travel 25% annually on short notices

- Night shift timings will apply as this requires interaction with clients in North America. So please do not apply if you are looking for a pure day job.
