As a Sales Director, you are responsible for envisioning and executing all sales strategies to achieve revenue growth. You will take full charge of goals and revenue targets for the entire team and you will build and nurture the team with direction and motivation. Your prior background in B2B enterprise sales, preferably in SaaS or Software solution space is essential for the role and gets you started from day one. This is a leadership role, so we are expecting you to be an undisputed role model for many in the organization with your personality and interpersonal traits.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy and set sales targets based on financial gains and customer satisfaction
- Develop sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Meet customer, both - existing and prospective and gauge customer and market pulse
- Create Inside sales and Field sales action plan and follow through it.
- Constantly Identify and improve sales processes.
- Hire and Coach the sales teams so that they deliver the value propositions in a crystal-clear format
- Track activities of team and conduct review meetings with the team
- Ensure a learning curve for the designated team of executives
- Work closely with the team to explore new business opportunities and leads
- Coordinate with customers and account management team to close contract negotiations and raise invoices
Preferred Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of SaaS / B2B software sales experience
- MBA from Tier-1 colleges such as ISB and IIMs
- Experience of negotiating business terms with senior management
- Proven track record of managing and closing complex sales
- Up-market sales experience
- Familiarity with HR management tools will be a plus, although not required -
- Strong knowledge about the sales tools - CRM, Marketing automation etc.
