Karvy Solar is a new age Solar power company aiming to provide one stop solution under one roof. We are setting up a 20 MW solar power project at Sadashivpet, Telangana and are taking steps to be a serious player in the Industry. The company has plans to develop three verticals Build & Operate, EPC and Consulting. Over the next few years, Karvy Solar aims to be a serious player in the Construction, consulting and Operations & management of Solar Power projects

Purpose of role :

To set-up and successfully manage Consulting and Advisory services focusing Solar PV Business. The services offered include - Design of Solar Power plants, IPR, Tender documents preparation and management of tendering process, Project monitoring and management, Techno Commercial feasibility.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for solar resource assessment, outlining of plant designs, Energy yield predictions, DPR preparation, drafting of technical content relating to projects EPC contracts, appraisal for contractor proposals.

- Have an clear understanding of yield, cost and risk of each project

- Provide services to catalyze planning and development of solar projects.

- Support feasibility study, offering attractive ROI solutions, preparation of techno commercial proposal and EPC contracting.

- Preparation of BOQ, Costing and Design with a focus to optimize the cost.

- Provide design-inputs and Verify design.

- Prepare financial modeling of Power projects that includes international financing, project due diligence, debt syndication advisory and financial structuring.

Qualification, Experience & Desired Skills :

- B.Tech/M.Tech with 15 - 20 years of experience in handling power projects of which at least 3 years should be in providing consultancy and customized solutions.

- MBA in Finance from a reputed University is preferred

- Expertise in detailed engineering for off grid and grid connected projects in kW and MW segment. Preparation of PFR, DPR and financial models for various solar solutions including solar PV plants, rooftops.

- Well conversant with all the national and international standards in SPV power systems

- Should have provided end to end consultancy to wide clientele in different domains, preferably from solar and energy sectors.

- Knowledge of Bureau of Indian standards (BIS) for the standardization of Photovoltaic power systems.

- Well conversant with design tools and PR modeling

- Business Development, particularly in the area of renewable energy, preferably in the Solar power space

- Deep understanding of financial restructuring and financial closures, debt and equity funding solutions.
