The Data Scientist will be responsible for data engineering complex, large-scale data sets used for modelling, Analytical model, and research. Key responsibility includes create re-usable implementations of statistical tests and models (R, SAS, python etc) using data mining, machine learning, statistical analysis and computational economics.   The ideal candidate should have reasonable programming and design skills to manipulate unstructured and big data, build prototype that work on massive data-sets.  Key Skills :  - Work closely with analytics COE team to identify and provide analytical insights by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data  - Working knowledge of R/SAS   - Working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau/D3/Qlikview/Microstrategy)  - Preferably experienced with programming languages, including Python, Java, C++.  Understanding of Big data technology : Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Mongo DB.  Eligibility :   Candidates should possess the basic educational qualifications (Given below) for the position, demonstrate knowledge of operations research techniques, including optimization, stochastic and deterministic model building techniques, including simulation methods, mathematical programming, applied probability, and statistical methods. A strong communication skills is must for the role.  Education Qualification :   MTech/MS/M.Stat/MBA or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Economics or Mathematics or Operational research (OR) or Statistics.  Salary offered: 5 - 9 LPA
