Function : Safety, Occupational Health & Environment  - Provides appropriate safety and health, accident prevention, and investigation training for managers, supervisors & contract workmen to create EHS ( Environment, Health & Safety )awareness.  - Assist management in the annual inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful conditions for workers.   - Assist management and supervisors in investigating accidents and developing measures to prevent recurrences. Prepare appropriate notices for management to issue for abatement of any identified hazards.  - To advise and help implementation of the companies EHS standards across the company factories, offices and periodical monitoring of the compliance through audit / inspection  - Provides promotional materials and develops and administers recognition systems to promote safe and healthful work performance.  - Supports the Safety Management information system by recording all accident reports in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.  - Be the primary contact for plant-related EHS issues. Assist plant leadership and staff in understanding EHS regulations and standards, including guidance on handling EHS compliance, inspections, and citations. Advise and lead to incorporate environmental health and safety principles and concepts to prevent workplace, operational hazards and environmental impacts  - Advise and assist the plant head and other persons concerned in planning, organizing, controlling and maintaining activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for work including setting objectives  Qualification / Experience :  - Degree/ Diploma in Engineering ( Civil /Mechanical /Electrical) or other technical qualification like fire engineers etc.   - Post diploma in industrial safety from recognized institute. (RLI /CLI will be preferred).   - Minimum 5 to 7 years of work experience in EHS
