About CAU: The Credit Analysis Unit (CAU) is part of the Credit Risk function for the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) and Commercial Bank (CB) at J.P. Morgan. CAU works closely with the in-country underwriters and Credit Executives and provides them with credit risk analysis of clients; as well as recommendations on risk grades. CAU was set up in Jan 2003 and covers CIB clients across Asia and EMEA; as well as Commercial Bank - North America.  Role: Analyst for conducting Credit Analysis of Corporate clients for Commercial Banking - North America  Responsibilities:   Credit risk analysis reports as well as regular monitoring of financial performance of clients to assess any impact on credit risk and grading. Recommend rating grades based on analysis for the clients and facilities/exposures.   Develop and maintain open communication channels with underwriters.  Build strong knowledge of credit analysis for clients and develop understanding of various techniques and methods of credit analysis, accounting treatments, financial adjustments etc.  Qualifications: - MBAs (with Finance specialization) / CAs  Excellent academic record   Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts  Strong analytical skills and keen attention-to-detail   Deadline oriented, organized, and responsible   Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment   Strong communication skills - oral and written   Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and Power Point  1 year of Credit related work experience would be a plus (though not a must)
