The team acts in the advisory capacity helping the business to anticipate regulatory changes, interpret their impact, and develop regulatory execution strategies and client service solutions. The team periodically publishes thought leadership content and is involved in industry advocacy on regulatory matters.  This is a dynamic and multi faceted role which combines project management, support of the CFS critical regulatory impact assessment process, build out and maintenance of the CFS regulatory governance model and controls framework, and support of the client facing regulatory intelligence tools. The role provides cross regional exposure to different product areas within CFS, and involves daily interaction with CFS product managers as well as functional business support areas (Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Technology, Corporate Tax etc.). The role will have a reporting line into the Regulatory Intelligence and Solutions global or regional head based in London.  Key responsibilities :  - Regulatory landscaping leveraging official internal and external intelligence sources and generation of regulatory reporting for the management team  - Respond to RFPs/RFIs and maintain team's RFP database  - Competitor research and development of periodic analysis with actionable recommendations for the management team  - Periodic maintenance of regulatory content in the client facing Regulatory Intelligence online tool, and support of ongoing expansion of the tool to additional markets and client types   - Ongoing administration of regulatory business impact assessments across CFS (initiation; pursuit of responses from product managers; review of impact assessment output for accuracy and completeness; handover into implementation phase)  - Project management of the team's planned (client facing publications, communication initiatives, other) and unplanned initiatives   - Support of the CFS regulatory governance model: planning of governance meetings; production of periodic governance reporting for senior management; coordination of various key reporting that forms part of the global CFS monthly governance meetings   - Support of the team's controls framework including but not limited to: maintenance and evolution of Sharepoint documentation repository; maintenance of team's MIS (some highly visible to senior management); maintenance of various data inventories and trackers; maintenance and development of procedures  Requirements :   - Undergraduate degree required, advanced degree is a plus  - Familiarity with key regulatory themes and issues as well as individual regulations not required, however would be a significant bonus  - Practical experience within control functions (risk, business/product control, compliance) or operations highly preferred   - Familiarity with Investor Services products and services, preferably at a practical level  Essential skills :   - Strong analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail  - Ability to demonstrate inclusion of risk and control parameters in daily business activities   - Execution orientation, proven ability to drive results and achieve high standard, and strong end-to-end ownership of tasks/projects   - Strong project management skills   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills  - Proven ability to proactively build relationships, collaborate with product partner and functional support groups, and effectively navigate large complex matrix organizational structures  - Strong working knowledge of MS office (in particular Powerpoint) and Sharepoint  - Team player with demonstrated ability to work in and create a cohesive work environment   - Ability to prioritise and work across multiple work streams  - Innovative mind set with a proven track record of identifying opportunities for improvement and making actionable recommendations to the management team
