JOVA - Technical Product Manager (2-5 yrs)

As one of the first product managers on our team, this is an absolute early-stage opportunity to work closely with the CEO and other core members to play a key role in shaping Jova. Your primary responsibility is to own the product vision and set the product direction to get to the stage where JOVA becomes the universal product service for the home service industry.

You will drive conceptualization, solution design and set the product strategy to ensure that our product exceeds our customer's- expectations. You are responsible for understanding and prioritizing enterprise customer needs, defining product features to meet those needs, and working with the development team to get them delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product strategy development (high-level vision for how the product drives the business model and competes against competition)

- Product roadmap ownership from concept to release

- Prioritization of requirements and use case gathering and development

- Create specifications and user profiles for the development team

- Incorporate market & technology changes into product planning and positioning

- Define JOVA's product vision for enterprise customers, based on a deep knowledge of their needs and how they buy, deploy and use cloud apps

- Drive the product development process from conception through design, build, release, analysis and constant iteration

- Work with the executive team to craft and communicate the product vision as well as a roadmap to early adopter customers, investors and team.

- Utilize existing research and reports, including usage data, usability studies and surveys, to gather feedback, analyze current experience, and test new prototypes.

Professional Requirements:

- Ability to think creatively and strategically about technical solutions - technical background and/or 4-year degree or higher in computer science or equivalent preferable

- 2-4 years relevant experience in a product management role or enterprise software product development role

- Stellar written and verbal communication skills

- Strong track record of leadership and performance with a customizable SaaS product

- Domain expertise in Field Service Management domain

- Experience driving inbound product management cycles - prioritization, details specification, user experience design, product quality, and engagement with engineering teams

- Passion for Cloud, Mobility and Enterprise technologies

- Obsessed with improving user experience and product design to ensure features drive high adoption and customer enthusiasm

- Intuition regarding the right balance of simplicity and power features that lead to user adoption of collaboration, project management and productivity tools

- Experience defining and delivering a mobile-based product (Nice to have)

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous product innovation

- Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced and unstructured startup environment

- You are outcome driven and have insatiable will to get stuff done
