Leading and managing the finance, accounting and reporting function. Ensuring robust and reliable controls accross the GFO entities.

Responsible for Investment and wealth Management. Preparation and Finalization of annual budget, Liaison with consultant, taxation and ensure compliance of offshore entities. Preparing monthly MIS and submitting to GFO/CCEO.

Investment & Estate Planning, Portfolio Management and Investment:

- Manage performance of all investment portfolios.

- Critical analysis and review of Economic and Financial market

- Suggest amendments to the agreed stock option strategies.

- Asset Allocation

- Hedging

- Performance & Benchmarking

Investment Ideas and Opportunities:

- Study investment opportunities, suggest investment ideas and make proposals

- Seek approval of investment proposals

- Negotiate with investment advisors and seek approval of fees.

- Ensure actions are taken on investment plans upon approval

- Ensure timely payment of fees to investment advisors.

- Preparation and submission of monthly / periodical reports on gains and losses on investments.

Budgeting and MIS:

- Preparation and finalization of annual budget of all GFO operations

- Preparation of monthly MIS, analysis of monthly variances and submit report to GFO / CCEO

Finance Controls:

- Prudent Finance Management for the Company with proper accounting and timely submission of Reports and analysis to enable a balanced and objective assessment of GFO strategies and objectives.

- Ensure 100% reconciliations of bank accounts, loan accounts, inter company accounts on monthly basis

- Liquidity / Cash Flow

- Financing

- Banking

- Payments

- GFO Funding

Finalization of monthly, periodical, annual accounts and Audit:

- Liaison with UK accountant (outsourced) and ensure finalization of monthly, periodically accounts of MBA.

- Submit monthly / periodical reports to GFO / CCEO

- Finalization of annual accounts in time.

- Coordinate with auditors and get the accounts audited in time.

Taxation:

- Tax Planning

- Liaison with tax consultants and ensure payment of applicable tax dues including withholding tax, if any.

- Liaison with Tax Consultant and filing of returns.

- Ensure all UK tax compliances of UK entities and family.

Legal:

- Liaison with legal consultants, preparation of brief on any matter as and when arises.

- Forwarding brief to GFO / CCEO and liaise with consultants for submission of brief.

- Obtain fee quote for opinion / advice, negotiate and seek approval from GFO / CCEO.

- Liaise with consultant and seek advice upon approval of fee.

- Take action upon receipt of advice.

- Preparation of legal documents and agreements as and when required.

- Get the bills processed and ensure payment to consultant upon receipt of advice.

Company Secretarial:

- Liaise with legal / Company Secretary and ensure up to date filing of Company Records of all GFO entities including at UK.

- Manage Corporate affairs in liaison with legal / Company secretary, prepare Board Resolution, get the same approved and ensure the same are included in Minutes of Meeting in respect of all GFO entities including at UK.

Compliances:

- Ensure all other statutory compliances with respect to all GFO entities.

Experince : CA or ICWA with 10 + years of experience in Portfolio Management, Investment.

Willing to relocate to Nigeria
