The role involves working closely with the business, Outsourced partner - SKP, pune and other functional teams related to financials closing procedures & payable processes. The position is that of an individual contributor.  General Responsibilities :  Closing Activities & Reporting :   - Ensuring smooth monthly closing activities for preparation of Balance Sheet and P&L.  - Timely and Accurate preparation of Opex & COGS summary Report for management purpose.  - Preparation and Review of control accounts on monthly and quarterly basis   - Improvise the quality of control accounts and make more sensible for management reviews.  - Ensuring all Lynx and Bravo reporting on quarterly basis is completed before due date.  - Support other reporting requirements from region & corporate team  Payables management :  - Reviews and validates tax & regulatory monthly & quarterly submission   - Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovates solutions so as to operate the team in an efficient and cost effective manner  - Monitors AP MIS for turnaround time, types of payments.  - Field Support Activities (FSA)- Handling the FSA process, ensuring compliance with HCC guidelines and completeness of supporting documentation; Simplifying the FSA process .Responsible for change management within AP including designing, developing, implementing, validating and reviewing Authority Matrix on a periodic basis  - Responsible for alignment of appropriate authorization, payment terms and other necessary details with vendors and local finance  - Responsible for escalation of issues to AP as well as proper documentation, prioritization, tracking and resolution of problems when necessary to avoid delays in processing  - Other key projects identified in the payable management area.  Audit :   - Facilitates & assists during various audits like recurring internal audit, corporate audits, FCPA audit etc  - Facilitates statutory audit with execution of required activities and ensures information are available as required  Compliance :   - Responsible for updating current processes, operations, systems, databases and information security in compliance with proper accounting and legal principles/ policies/ procedures including GAAP, Company WWP (worldwide procedures), SOX and others  - Assists in update of process documentation and/ or SOPs as required  Qualification :  - Chartered Accountant, a rank holders ONLY  Experience :   - Minimum of 2 year of experience in requisite field.  Target organizations - Pharma  We will contact you if you are shortlisted.
