Position Title: Executive - Indirect Taxes   Business Unit: Corporate Finance  Reports To: Senior Manager - Indirect Taxes   Location: Mumbai  Profile Summary:  - Support for design, development and implementation of the country's taxation strategies, in line with the Global guidelines continuously enhancing the role in improving Business performance and competitiveness in the market place   - To ensure compliance with local statutory legal requirements.   - Coordinate with the external and internal auditors, Stake holders of business verticals Consultants   - To maintain a highly compliant culture through continuous review of the processes and engagements with key stakeholder   - Assist any projects throughout the organization   Indirect Tax (VAT & Service Tax)  - Assisting in setting up process in the area of VAT & Service tax to manage routine compliance in best efficient manner across India.  - Ensuring timely compliance in the manner of payment of tax and filling of period returns of VAT/CST for Western Region and also other parts of India as whenever required. And also Service Tax payment as well as related compliance of the same.  - Reviewing and managing the status and control of collection as well as issuance of statutory forms such as Form F,C and others.  - Ensuring timely compliance of Service Tax covering timely payment of Service Tax  - Review of Service tax applicability on various transactions from service provider and reverse charge mechanism perspective.  - Support for managing the complete process of Service Tax Credit availment through Input Service Distribution Mechanism.  - Assist in handling various departmental Audits such as EA 2000 Audit, CERA Audit etc.  - Handling department audit, VAT Audit and normal day to day notice proceeding in the area of VAT  - Handling assessment procedure related to VAT/CST & Service Tax whenever required  - Preparation & Consolidation of PAN India Sales Tax Litigation and Compliance Status   - Preparation of Service Tax Compliance Status  - Support for several projects - GST Implementation, Customs matter, Excise, Service tax etc.  Qualification and Experience: (Indirect Taxes)  - C A with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience  - Experience in industry is preferred and experience with Big 4 consulting firms is desirable.
