Duties & Responsibility:

- Part of the leadership team, would be responsible for carrying out independently to set & support the business on Finance/ Tax -Direct & Indirect both / Corporate Law/ FEMA and SEBI's AIF Regulation 2012 Advisory & other legal Compliance.

- Provide guidance to the business team to facilitate gathering, interpreting and conveying financial and statistical information required for planning in an accurate and efficient manner.

- Influences business results by providing pertinent real time advice on financial & other compliance matters.

- Identifying areas for process improvements to enhance quality and accuracy.

- Solid performer who is highly ethical, decisive, action oriented and team-worker with high energy and process mindset to achieve superior results.

Job Description:

- Leading the Finance & Accounts Dept., Direct and Indirect Taxation, Treasury, Audit, Legal & Secretarial, IT function from the stage of planning, directing & controlling standpoint.

- Budgetary control on various fund on the basis of each fund and MIS for the same.

- Finalization of Financial Results & Accounts and coordination with Statutory Auditors, Tax and Internal Auditors.

- Control over all legal issues/ cases of the Company under FEMA, RBI, Excise, and Income Tax. Checking/ scrutiny of all contracts of new area/ major work before entering.

- Submission of data and arrangement for filing of various returns to ROC, SEBI, RBI & Trustee & Stock Exchanges for REIT. Responsible for all legal compliances including Corporate Governance & REIT Listing Agreement.

- Planning and coordination in between fund & Departmental Heads and review/ guide the performance of the fund.

- Facilitating ABPs, Statutory & Internal Audit, Fine Tuning Processes, Implementation of SOPs & standardization of accounting practices, Presentation of accounts (IFRS /IGAAP) & Corporate Financial Management reporting. Ensuring all statutory compliances. Transaction closure with VAT, Service Tax, MAT scenarios.

- Working with the Investment Advisory team assisting them in structuring funds, developing financial models for various fund proposals/investment opportunities. Analysis of costs for construction of commercial assets, identifying areas of Improvement.

- Conducting functional process reviews, Review covers deploying strategies for improving top line with an eye on bottom line. Ensuring compliances for these transactions.

- Fixation of legal contractual terms for crystallized proposals in coordination with legal dept.;

- Monitoring of actual against budget and corrective measure for deviations, revision of budget estimates/benchmarks

- Financial vetting of third party contracts

- Developing periodic strategy based on threshold fund returns & in consideration of fund cost escalations;

- Monitoring of fund IRRs : Actual Vs Business Plan

- Maintenance of Accounts in TALLY, filing periodic audited results with authorities

- Working Capital Management : Treasury & Banking

- Preparing and submitting the quarterly financials

- Deposition of Tax and filing of Returns on timely basis for Advance Tax/TDS/Service Tax including the reverse charges

- New Companies Law- Filing of Various Returns and forms on regular basis.

- Compliance with FEMA requirement for Foreign Direct Investment.

- Liaison with the respective Departmental Authorities for the purpose of responding to notices, assessments or any other routine correspondence etc; managing tax litigation and making sure that the company defends its positions appropriately.

- Keeping abreast of the recent developments in law and updating the team on amendments which will impact business;

- Liaison with the internal business teams to ensure that data required for statutory requirements is being captured accurately in the documentations.

- The incumbent may also be required to travel on account of any of the foregoing profile requirements.

Education: Qualified CA
