The person in this role would be responsible for implementation of SEO traffic growth strategies & grow organic traffic for ixigo as well as for its affiliated websites.  This is a Full time position to be based out of our Gurgaon office and will be reporting to Head - Digital Marketing.  Key Responsibilities :  This role will be responsible for executing the SEO Strategy while working in close cooperation with development & growth team. This would typically entail :  On-page Optimization :   - Site structure & interlinking architecture optimization, Competitor Analysis, Keyword Research  - Keyword Research, Analysis & Profiling, Understanding of Keyword Density, Difficulty and Placement  - Existing Web Content Optimization, HTML Validation  - Content Development Check, Brief Keyword Competition Review  - Conduct technical audits and link audits  - Creation of Title & Meta Tags, Anchor Text  Off-page Optimization :   - Organic Link building, Social Bookmarking & Networking  - Directory Submission, Article submission, Press Release Submission  - Forum, Blog & Q/A (Yahoo Answers, Quora etc.) Posting  - Rich Media (Video, Images etc.) Optimization & Posting  Qualifications Summary :  - At least an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics. B.Tech will be given preference.  - 2-4 years of experience in SEO, Social Media, e-commerce, travel industry preferred.  - Ability to go down in the trenches- while solving problems  - An ability to identify & solve new business opportunities through ideation of new products.  Required Skill Set :  - Should have a sound knowledge of all search engines like Google, Bing & Yahoo strategies including their SERP and ranking.  - Knowledge of On/Off page SEO and all verticals of natural link building like, Blogging, Forums posting, Reviews posting, video marketing, PPT creation, Yahoo answers, Classified ads etc.  - Basic understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS  - Comprehensive knowledge of Search Engine ranking algorithms  - Understanding of social media and community websites  - Strong interest and aptitude for technology, and emerging search industry trends  - Strong quantitative and analytical skills  Desired Skill Set :  - Self starter with a high level of drive and commitment  - High energy and drive to work in a startup environment  - Conceptual thinking, flexibility and ability to juggle with multiple responsibilities  - Ability to work under pressure and confidence to deal with complex issues  - Strong communication skills  Compensation : Competitive, Commensurate with experience & Skills
