IT/Telecom Sourcing Professional - BPO (9-14 yrs)

The Position :
- Seeking a IT & Telecom procurement professional for procuring various types of IT & Telecom material/ services, new vendor development for cost optimization
- He will be acting as Category Manager for procurement of IT & Telecom services/ material materials
- Managing procurement of IT & Telecom required for multiple applications/use/clients
- Spend & vendor consolidation to optimize the savings
- Making annual rate contracts with suppliers
- Strong hands on experience in or other ERP systems (like Ariba, SAP, etc.)
- Interact with key customer stakeholders and work closely with them to identify areas of improvement.
- Offer creative solutions to support overall procurement program and achieve desired results.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have :
Basic Qualifications :
- 10 - 12 years of Sourcing & Category Management experience out of which approx 80% should be in IT & Telecom sourcing.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Should have strong experience in category planning, stakeholder management, global sourcing
- Very strong knowledge of suppliers in IT & Telecom industry
- Experience procuring various IT & Telecom (including wireless) services/ material
- Experience in developing of alternate materials & new vendor development for IT & Telecom
- Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint
- Process oriented with excellent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills.
- Project management skills.
- Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers.
- Knowledge of procurement operations, ERP systems, transaction management a big plus
Travel:
- Travel will be as per the requirement (expect approx 25-30% travel)
