IT Manager - Grains Milling & Animal Feeds Business (10-20 yrs)

Position Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead and own the implementation and support of systems for Grains Milling and Animal Feeds business in West Africa. This is a managerial position and the successful candidate will be directly reporting to the senior business and technology management team.

The key responsibilities are as below

- In-depth understanding of Grains Milling and Animal Feeds business processes and mapping the business processes with the IT systems. This will require customizing the IT systems as per business process requirements.

- Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in manufacturing and plant related processes and systems improvements. Continuous focus on improving business efficiency, productivity and controls.

- Identification and selection of other off-the-shelf systems for business processes which cannot be mapped in existing IT systems. This includes preparation of integrated systems architecture between existing and off-the-shelf systems (where required).

- Develop program / project plans and estimates. Oversee the project deliverables, schedules, service levels and productivity.

- Manage end-to-end program deployment and effectively plan resource utilization and manpower deployment to ensure delivery of projects within time, cost, quality and budgetary parameter.

- Partner with business to ensure systems implementation for Grains Milling and Animal Feeds business across countries.

Candidate Profile

- 15 years- experience in business process mapping, preparation of solution design and systems with industry preference to Agriculture/Consumer Goods manufacturing. Experience in implementing systems for Animal Feeds business will be an advantage.

- Knowledgeable in SAP MM, PP and PM modules and plant automation systems.

- Experienced leader, ability to manage and direct work with a team of 5-8 members spread across multiple locations.

- Implementation experience in a global environment with multiple locations.

- Focused on end-user and module implementation.

- Outstanding interpersonal skills, a capable oral and written communicator who effectively builds relationships with others.

- Entrepreneurial spirit generates ideas for business improvements and is able to implement them practically.
