Role Description
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in IT and should have 8+ years experience leading Business Intelligence projects across their development lifecycle from requirements gathering to delivery
- The candidate should be technically sound to support and lead delivery teams with technical guidance , financial acumen and Project management skills needed to ensure quality delivery.
- The ideal candidate would have started his/her career as a developer in software organizations, preferably on BI technologies and grown to senior positions
Primary Skills
Soft skills:
- Should have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills in both independent and collaborative work environments
- Confident, self-driven, with proven track record of accelerated growth in previous organizations
- Should have excellent requirements management, project management, estimation and planning skills
- Solid customer management and presentation skills
Functional skills:
- Ability to work at the “C” level at client implementations. MUST have experience communicating, presenting, and interacting with Vice-President level executives at client sites
- Experience with agile development in BI projects preferable
- Outstanding people manager leading highly motivated teams in a high-pressure, dynamic and global environment
- Building Client relationships resulting in add-on sales
- Client relationship management
Technical skills:
- 15 yrs in IT
- 8+ years leading projects across lifecycle with large teams
- Good knowledge on different BI architectures, frameworks and methodologies
- Good experience in multiple BIM technologies- Teradata, Oracle BI, SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos, IBM Information Server, MS BI, Documentum, Filenet, Opentext etc
- PMP or TOGAF certified preferred
Additionally:
- Project-based travel out of base locations – short term as well long term and acceptance of this condition is mandatory
Total Exp - 15+ yrs
Experience working with Domestic customers is a must
