IT Business Analyst/Consultant - Healthcare (7-15 yrs)

We have opening with one of our clients for the position of Healthcare/Sr Healthcare Consultant.

Location - Mumbai (Airoli/Powai) & US

Role -

- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and business needs

- Interact with client engineering team to conceptualize, develop and implement software projects and solutions

- Optionally lead development of solutions on an end to end basis

- Lead onsite visits to client locations e.g., for requirements, UAT

- Proactively stay abreast with new developments in Microsoft’s software development technologies

- Proactively track developments in healthcare IT, including standards, technologies and workflows

Skills -

Skills (mandatory) Healthcare Skills

- Strong experience in the healthcare domain, including knowledge of healthcare standards, workflows and processes

- Expertise in HL7 V2.X

- Knowledge of / experience with healthcare vocabularies used in IT – e.g. LOINC, SNOMED, CPT, ICD, RxNorm, etc.

- Previous experience with having designed and architected parts of enterprise scale healthcare IT applications

Technology Skills

- Strong expertise in the Microsoft .NET framework using C#, ADO .NET, ASP .NET, XML, Web Services

- Proven experience in designing and architecting multi-tiered enterprise applications

- Knowledge of service oriented architecture principles

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies

- Excellent written, verbal communication and customer interfacing skills

Skills (desired) - Exposure to EAI technologies (e.g. BizTak)

- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) & Scrum

- Knowledge of HL7 V3

- Academic background in Computer Science or Engineering

Profile is more of a Business Analyst role and Client Management.
