Objectives of Job :
- To assist and support projects and initiatives by providing effective, value added and sustainable solutions
- To work independently within minimal guidance and be self-driven
- To work closely with the business in order to gather and analyse requirements; while ensuring that all processes, procedures, requirements and solutions are accurately documented to enable superior levels of reporting and knowledge capture
- To liaise with other divisions as required
- To complete all assignments including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution and conflict management
- To undertake process excellence review work, Business Analysis and Process designing
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Works with business partner to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs
- Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed business functional specifications.
- Manages ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction with IT
- Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
- To complete all assignments including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution and conflict management
- Support projects, by active participation in Process designing, Process Transition & Transformation whenever required
Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills :
- 4 to 8 years experience
- 3 to 5 years experience in an IT BA role
Broad IT domain experience in two or more of the following IT areas :
- Applications Development,
- Project Management,
- Process Improvements,
- Maintenance and Support
- Strong skills in working with relational databases and SQL
- Strong skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly, and find solutions to solving them independently in a timely manner
- Exhibit good knowledge of Microsoft Office( Excel, Visio) and other applications.
- Great knowledge of IT processes and willingness to constantly update knowledge.
- Good knowledge of SAP BW or SAP FI is mandatory
- Knowledge of SAS will be an advantage
- Knowledge in Actuarial topics will be an advantage
