About the company in Dubai:

Company is to provide services (appointment booking, form filling, hotel booking, travel insurance, forex etc.) for visa applicants, in close proximity to the dedicated visa application centres that we run globally. These service centres will be smaller in size and we will be rolling out to the following 15 countries initially:

China, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi, Pakistan, Algeria, Russia, Turkey, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, India, Bangladesh and Srilanka.

IT Business Analyst –

Summary of Function: To provide technology expertise and support in the day to day operations and for project roll out in various locations.

Essential duties and responsibilities

- Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions that will enhance or improve current business process.

- Supports and ensures operating availability of Network/applications in all locations and routinely tunes systems for optimum performance

- Follows up on faulty hardware and software purchases by pursuing warranty advantages through manufactures/suppliers

- Ensures software, hardware and network installs, re-installs, upgrades, moves, changes and replacements are done when necessary and as required.

- Acts as a liaison agent between the company and various suppliers/outsourcing company in India for support / application development.

- Stays current with developments, practice trends and advancements in the IT field.

Organizational relationships

Reports to: CIO / COO

Supervises: None

External contacts: Hardware, software vendors.

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in Information / Computer Technology

- 5-8 years experience in similar job

Required Skills

- Strong Analytical and documentation skills

- Ability to deal with vendors and technically evaluate solutions

- Good understanding of locations, vendors for various services, rates etc..

- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word and Power point)

- Good communication skills

- Self motivated

Location / Work Environment

- Dubai or India

- Primarily indoors in own office setting as well as at vendor locations.

Salary scale - AED 10,000- 12,000, based on experience levels (all inclusive)
