IT Business Analyst

The business analyst would work closely with our customers to understand their business model, requirements and translate them into software requirements document.

Responsibilities :

- Ensuring that the solution suggested is commercially viable and competitive

- Making proposals, Gap Identification, Client relationship management

- Conducting research and basic analysis of the industry the customer is in

- Work directly with the implementation team to ensure delivery and implementation of the software.

- End to end project management

- Drafting business requirement specification

- Translating business requirement document to software requirement specifications

- Interacting and coordinating with the different teams

- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

- Effectively manage software releases, ensuring compliance with software release

- Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

- Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.

- Communicates and applies project standards.

- Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.

- Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.

- Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project.

Key Skills :

- Business analysis skills – ability to understand business objectives and translate them into specific requirements

- Financial & accounting concepts and methodologies

- Technologies –Microsoft Office - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel/Word/Power point/Projects

- Excellent oral, written and client presentation skills

Experience :

MBA with 3 to 6 yrs of exp in business analysis for financial services client in IT Software company. Should have worked on SRS, BRD, UAT. Exp in Agile & Scrum would be an added advantage.
