Purpose :

Isteel is looking to grow its business and brand outside of its core markets. The company is looking for an experienced professional to lead this phase of growth

Responsibilities :

- Build a sales team, identify and bring on board channel partners, thereby creating a strong retail distribution network

- Set aggressive growth targets and deliver the same through a robust sales infrastructure

- Flawless execution of marketing activities

- Identify contract manufacturers in new markets, create business relationships

- Manage third party manufacturers to ensure a smooth supply chain and quality that the brand promises its customers

- Manage market credit and minimize business risk

Desired profile :

- Preferably an MBA with 10-15 years of experience

- From outside the Steel & Cement sectors, a strong preference for FMCG Sales & Marketing professionals

- Would be good if the candidate has an experience of handling contract manufacturing

- Proficient in English & Hindi

- Willing to be based in Chennai; open to traveling extensively

- A self-starter, able to work with limited supervision

- Believes in developing long term business relationships

- Creative in ones approach to Sales & Marketing

- Understands what it takes to build a premium brand, hence a strong quality focus in everything he does
