ISDA Manager - LLB - BFSI

JOB DESCRIPTION :

The successful candidate will work on financial documentation projects for large investment banks, supporting the Firm's OTC and prime services businesses. The role involves assisting the banks to manage their OTC derivatives documentation (including ISDA and ancillary agreements; repurchase agreements; and prime brokerage documentation, including prime brokerage agreements, securities lending and ancillary agreements), and advising on legal and regulatory issues arising from initiation to termination of derivatives and prime brokerage relationships.

Successful execution of this role will require:

- To serve as an in-house subject matter expert for delivery teams working on reviewing/ drafting or analyzing and extracting key data points from OTC derivative agreements; including understanding of how ISDA MA/ CSA, Prime Brokerage and ancillary agreements impact client's OTC and Prime Services business and counterparty relationships

- Staying abreast of industry developments as far as new regulations, ISDA protocols and products and services,

- Understanding of Documentation, Quality assurance processes and best practice

- Strong understanding of Collateral Management environments, including understanding of new opportunities to improve the client's negotiation processes and procedures.

- Support business development activities, including participating in client phone calls and meetings as and when needed.

- Responsible for management of people development processes and creating a learning environment across the organization

- High proficiency on Excel and analytical skills

COMPETENCIES :

Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in the financial space including:

- Strong understanding of ISDA & CSA

- Intimate knowledge of banking regulations and structure, including of financial products and services, in the context of global regulatory and compliance regimes.

- Excellent verbal & written communication; and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain high levels of confidentiality.

- Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.

- Achievement-oriented, independent, proactive, well organized individual with an ability to adhere to timelines and has a bias for closure.

- Highly detail oriented and achievement oriented

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Exhibits intellectual versatility; recognizing, exploring, and uses a broad range of ideas and practices

- Self-starter with a keen desire to succeed and contribute to the business.

- Proficiency in MS-Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

- Proven record of completing complex documentation assignments under very tight time deadlines

- Excellent client service and internal cofordination skills as part of a project team

- Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders from different disciplines

- Enthusiasm and commitment to working as part of diverse team in a dynamic environment
