iRage - Associate - Risk & Compliance - High Frequency Trading (1-4 yrs)
The incumbent will focus on two specific areas :
Risk :
- Monitor trends or changes in the behaviour of our trading strategies across all markets and asset classes during the market trading and thereby provide immediate escalations to reduce risks.
- Build and enhance existing risk monitoring and risk alert tools.
- Ability to analyze ad-hoc risks and support all respective teams to resolve them.
- Create and enhance existing tools to generate daily risk reports
- Help improve processes by creating better risk systems and procedures
- Work with traders and the core engineering team to respond effectively to any risk limit violation and unusual trading behavior.
- Build tools to monitor trading statistics and automatically set logical risk limits for various trading accounts, and also set logical risk limits at the broad corporate level.
- Track external developments in the market and figure risks that could apply to our trading operations
Compliance :
- Create and maintain tools that record all information required from a compliance perspective (trading logs, trading parameters)
- Improve processes for mandatory compliance related operations - audits, new strategy approvals, etc
- Internal analytics infrastructure: In conjunction with the centralized tools that record information for compliance, also ensure that all information for trading analytics are also properly recorded in a standardized format.
