Description:

- Investment Manager (ID) is responsible to assist entrepreneurs and members to close deals. To do so, the IM will follow up with our investor members regarding the deal flow presented every other month, to engage investors, provide them the right information and excitement about the companies and coordinate with members and entrepreneurs until the deal is closed.

Skills & experience:

- 5+ years of experience on investment banking and/or angel investment: negotiation with investors, closing investment deals, terms sheets.

- Experience on funds, family office and/or Venture Capital firms.

- Experience on analysis of companies and development of financial plans.

- Experience on development of documentation for investors: business plans, teasers, valuations, financial plans, competitive analysis.

- Experience and knowledge regarding international start-ups: USA, Europe and Asia.

- Good business sense.

- Good communications skills, both writing and verbally.

- To be self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.

- Good organizational and time-management skills.

- A positive attitude.

- Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness.

- Confidence presenting to small and large groups of people.

- Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information.

- A smart appearance and professional manner.

- To enjoy networking and meeting new people.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Manage and coordination of CBA deal flow.

- Responsible of the fund raise and closing investment deals between our companies and our investor members.

- To be part of the screening committee to select the companies that are going to be presented to investors every other month.

- To understand and analyse every company, in order to provide the right information and excitement to our investor members.

- Organization of meetings between entrepreneurs and investors.

- Assist with the development and execution of the CBA investment meetings, and follow up with the entrepreneurs and investors.

- Assist in any task required by the management regarding deal flow.

Reports to: CBA Manager (head-quartered in San Francisco)
