Position(s) - Research Analyst / Senior Research Analyst / Associate Research Manager

Industry Groups Across Multiple Industries

Job Description:

Work with analysts, associates and other senior bankers of a large Investment Bank client in providing research support across multiple industry groups. Candidate needs to provide pitch book support to bankers with activities such as -

- Buyer/seller research

- Financial modelling – DCF, LBO, M&A Modeling

- Trading / transaction comps

- Industry & company research / Thematic studies

- Company profiles

- Mentor and train analysts and associates

- For ARM’s and above: Manage day to day admin activities, Allocate work/staffing of team, Act as interface between onshore and offshore analysts

Key requirements for the role:

- Strong understanding of all IB research activities e.g. Pitch books creation, formatting and standardization, Newsletters, comps etc will be desired at all levels

- Advanced quantitative / numeric and problem solving skills along with good financial modeling and presentation skills. Strong accounting skills and experience in financial statement analysis

- The candidate needs to demonstrate ability to think independently, and generate and express ideas

- Needs to be a team player and adaptable to changing requirements of clients

- Strong service orientation, strong communication and interpersonal skills are a key requirement

- Hands-on with market databases such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, Capital IQ, etc

- Experience as team manager or staffer with regular client interactions will be preferred at senior levels

Eligibility:

- Experience working in Investment Banking captives or third party KPOs performing Investment Banking Research

- MBA (with Finance Specialization), Chartered Accountants, or equivalent

- 0-30 months experience for RAs

- 30-60 months experience for SRAs

- >60 months experience for ARMs
