Job Description:

Indirect Team/People Management:

- Manage the day-to-day team activities of India Private Bank Investment Advisory team.

- IA team should be seen as an indispensible partner to RM teams

- Bring talented Investment Advisors to SCB

Investment advisory:

- Provide independent opinion on quality of client's existing portfolio

- Help to determine/validate client's risk appetite, investment preference and return expectations by partnering with Client Advisor in client meetings

- Provide solutions for client's product requests

- Educate RMs and own team on investment products

- Trusted investment advisor of choice, e.g., acts as an initial sounding board for competitor proposals

- Provision of insightful analysis of latest market and product information

- Increase investment penetration

- Increase return on assets

- Create a structured process around how the IAs work with RMs and clients

- Ensure that client portfolios are reviewed in accordance with bank guidelines

- Drive higher quality and impact of investment proposals.

- Ensure that investment advice is consistent with the House View and is systematically delivered

Product Development:

- Collaboratively create new products with Wealth Management team

- Pioneer new / innovative product ideas with clients

- Review and assess product ideas through understanding client needs

- Successfully partner with the Consumer Bank WM team and additionally build strong relationships across the Wholesale Bank to deliver best product solutions to Private Bank clients.

Sales:

- Work with Market Heads and Team Leaders to increase client share of wallet and to achieve AuM and revenue goals

- Goal to be in top tier of private banks

- Partner with the senior RM leaders to grow the business by identifying new market opportunities, identify team structural changes and deliver a stronger product mix to Private Bank RMs

- Co-marketing with client advisors

- Sell suitable and investable product ideas to clients

- Produce profitable solutions for clients

- Run investment seminars for prospective clients
