Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Responsibilities:

- Manage the software release schedule for multiple product teams for multiple competing customer projects in parallel

- Act as a scrum master for scrum of scrums

- Manage deliverables from multiple interdependent component projects to schedule with competing priorities simultaneously.

- Drive Design, development, and implementation of requested changes to program components by working with Product, UX, UI, Verification, Validation, Tech Writing and Projects teams

- Custodian of Software Product Lifecycle, drives and maintains standardization across teams

- Software Delivery commitments to customers and flags issues appropriately (acts as an interface between Projects, Product, and Tech)

- Creates and maintain appropriate JIRA dashboards and boards for flagging any SLA breaks

- IT Ops and Dev Ops Program Manager (Owns software releases to customer and partner process)

- GPMS and NOC Program Management

- Demonstrate strong understanding of customers and customer environment.

- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the legal compliance process, how to apply it and ensure it.

- Act as a single program voice in a cross-geo, cross functional environment and manage upstream and downstream status communication.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience with a large, globally distributed product organization, preferably a software product company.

- Comfortable with Agile Development Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming)

- 4+ years of significant hands-on experience with managing multiple, complex product development projects

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA preferred

- Proficiency in Project Management tools like MS Project, JIRA etc.

- Good understanding of project management best practice frameworks (GANTT, PERT, Critical Path etc.)

- Proven track record of results and execution in a tight schedule and the often abstract environment.

- Ability to thrive in a startup culture, a high degree of flexibility in taking ownership of a diverse set of tasks and deliverables to meet overall team goals.

- Highly motivated individual with a 'can-do' attitude, willingness to take informed risks in order to achieve desired team goals.

- Ability to understand the bigger picture and convert product strategy to reality by influencing and driving results across functional, organizational, and geographic boundaries.
