Role Description : The role consist of bringing in new business from the market and ensuring the smooth way of working, handling the team and working closely with the team to achieve the targets.  Job Profile :   Business Development with through Product Knowledge :  To look for prospective retail clients and at the same time should also be able to convey the product he/she wishes to sell in nut shell.  Concluding the business & collection of premium cheque :  To monitor and follow up with the client till the time the payment cheque is received and thereafter should also provide in after sales service to the client.  Verification required of claim documents :  - Basic claim processing should be done at desk level before the claim documents are being sent to the administrator or insurance companies for final settlement.  - The client should be fully aware of all the set of documents they need to submit in the event of a claim arising and a checklist can be made available to them.  - In case of any Motor Claims the basic and essential document could be the registration copy of the vehicle, copy of valid driving license of the person who was driving the vehicle at the time of accident.\  Strategy to obtain new clients :  - He can also tap for prospective clients through friends circle, or other available source and could also brief them about the retail line of insurance and can look for personal line of insurance viz householder policy, individual personal accident, medical insurance etc.  Relationship Development :  - To maintain regular contacts with existing clients & through whom he could establish further contacts & could also procure business.  - Always try to maintain cordial relation with the client and even our efforts could have failed in obtaining a particular line of business but by maintained relation we could get introduced to some other clients who could be our prospective client.  Brokers duty & knowledge of the product :  - Always try to explain the client about the basic features of the products & also the exclusions in the policy & also about the add on covers which could be got covered on paying additional premium.  Follow up & Dealing with Insurance Company :  - It is also very essential that a proper follow up with insurance companies is required & see to it that the documents are received in time from them.  Qualification :   - Minimum Graduate, preferably MBA in Insurance & Finance or AIII/FIII.  - French Language Savy would be an addition during selection.  Behavioral Competencies :  - Accountable for maintaining effective teamwork, communication & interpersonal relationships.  - Accountable for representing Interlink professionally in all outside contacts.  - Demonstrate Strong Analytical Skills.  - Practive & demonstrates ability to use own initiative.  - Organisational abilities.
