IntelleGrow focuses on sectors with outsized public benefit, enabling leading enterprises to provide access to basic services across agricultural, modern energy, education, financial inclusion, healthcare and water and sanitation. It has recently crossed 200CR under management and is actively expanding beyond that level. To address market demand, IntelleGrow is looking to massively expand its credit team at all level and is looking for experienced credit analysts to join the team as Associates and Managers.

This position will play an important role in the Credit Team at IntelleGrow, from assessing credit appraisals to conducting the related due diligence to supporting internal legal and operation teams.

Some of the key skills required for the role would be ability to assess risk levels, perform financial statement analysis and recommend credit decisions. The position will directly report to the Head of Credit at IntelleGrow.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1) Check and address Credit appraisal notes based on analysis of business model and financial parameters and suggest related modifications as suitable to maintain proper flow to address areas of the appraisal process

2) Undertaking Due Diligence of the proposed borrower along with relevant internal stakeholders

3) Closely working with the Portfolio team for submission of regular financial updates of portfolio companies, analyzing them and highlighting any areas of discrepancy

4) Regular reviews and monitoring : Responsible for monitoring progress and general performance of borrowers along with the respective Relationship managers along with site visits to company locations

5) Cross Function Team Coordination : Collaborate with team members from Risk/Operations/Legal for requisite work flow and subsequent approvals

Desired Candidate Profile:

1) Finance background: An MBA in Finance or a Chartered Accountant/ ICWA would be preferred

2) Relevant experience in a similar role with Banks, NBFCs, Rating Agencies or Venture funds and exposure to SME funding would be a huge advantage

3) Strategic and analytical - proven ability to perform financial statement analysis and recommend credit proposals

4) Highly organized, passionate, goal oriented, self-driven and motivated individual willing to view each challenge as an opportunity to learn, excel and grow the company

5) Empathetic and energetic personality, able to understand and respect people from different cultural and economic backgrounds

6) Eye for detail and operational efficiency relentlessly detail oriented, obsessed with tracking and measuring, ability to connect threads and dependencies
