InstaVans - Manager - Operations (5-15 yrs)

Operations Manager delivers growth through the development of both a contracted & aggregated fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV). Also, key will be managing relationships with our driver partners. As an Operations Manager you are responsible for continually improving customer experience through greater availability of our vehicles by enhancing capacity. On the other hand, you are a problem solver who constantly works to delight your customer i.e. the trucker. This role calls for a rare combination of analytical thinking and partnership management.

Location: Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad

Education:

- Any Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or a similar field from a premier institute. MBA is a plus.

Preferred Background:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an on-the-ground, fast-paced business, preferably in sales, procurement or logistics.

Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage Instavans base of Partners and Drivers

- Create/iterate processes to onboard, manage, train and schedule drivers

- Improve fleet management and utilization using data and business insights

- Analyze data and KPI performance to iterate supply management strategy and identify areas of potential growth.

- Preparation of delivery and inventory reports

- Develop driver incentive programs to drive expansion of our fleet & capacity

- Manage the quality and efficiency of Instavans vehicle base to optimize customer experience.

Requirements:

- Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment

- Strong analytical and project management skills

- Strong partnership building skills

- Prior team management experience is preferred

- Experience of working in an on-the-ground, fast-paced business, preferably in sales, procurement, supply chain or logistics

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated person with integrity

- Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility

Compensation : Full-time salary negotiable based on experience and an equity compensation plan
