Inox Wind - Head - Technical Services - Polymer

Job Purpose: To support the operations team in error free and on time delivery of customer product demands by providing technical solutions for process improvement and debottlenecking. Also lead QA/QC function in the Complex and improve process safety in Polymer.

Polymer Technical Services:

- Understand the process losses and provide technical solutions to improve process yields by de-bottlenecking and support the operations team to identify areas and provide solutions to improve operational efficiency.

- Study process parameter fluctuations and come out with error proofing solutions to improve process consistency.

- Implement energy efficiency and improvement methodologies in consultation with the Operations team

- Identify probable failure mode by application of analytical tools like Process/Design FMEA, error profinge and come out with improvements to make operations stoppage free

Quality assurance and Control:

- Identify source of contamination and provide and implement solutions in consultation with Operations team to make product contamination free

- Improve process to ensure improvement of quality of product

- Implement best practices in QA to ensure best quality products

- Reduce COPQ (cost of poor quality)

- Give structured training to all levels to increase skills levels of polymer team on process controls and quality issues in operations

- Analyse and identify the root cause of quality defects and implement engineering/ process solutions to eliminate defects

Process Safety in Polymer:

- Work closely with Site - HSE and Process Safety Head to understand process safety measures for the Polymer plants and implement all process safety measures (w.r.t TFE operation only)

- Ensure through periodic audit to ensure process safety measures are working

- Conduct periodic HAZOPs to identify potential hazards and implement steps to reduce risks

Total Number of experience required - more than 20 years experience in continuous process chemicals plants and handling of multiple plants

Relevant experience required in - at least 10 years experience in technical support in Polymer manufacturing in controlled environment
