Position : Group Product Manager
Job Location : New Delhi
Job Description:-
- Responsible for completely understanding vendor(s)- key initiatives, products and markets served. Act as a resource to the department as a product or market category expert.
- Recommend new opportunities for incremental sales and relay knowledge on industry expertise to deliver competitive advantage.
- Accountable for the profitability of assigned vendor line(s) business segments; responsible for setting pricing, promotions, and customer return allowances while minimising associated operating expenses.
- Implement or oversee the following: Inventory level management; buy and return product; forecasting; payment decisions; pricing input; priority allocation; rebates; debit memos; buy-in deals; contract negotiation; negotiation of terms and conditions; track purchasing data.
- Responsible for Demo and DOA management
- Development of relationships with Sales executives and Account Managers; responsible for driving revenue opportunities with vendor(s); act as an external interface for partners and vendor field and HO teams; monitoring of sell-through data.
- Responsible for review of various promotion schemes at each month end and plan for requisite review of provisions for the open liabilities.

- Knowledge of technology products and distribution channels relative to assigned product category.
- Results orientated, motivated by success, and achievement and ability to multi-task.
- Strong presenter with effective negotiation skills to negotiate favourable terms and conditions of purchase or sale of goods.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex financial data.
- Ability to persuade, develop business, marketing and sales plans.
- Ability to communicate with executive level associates internally and externally in an articulate and professional manner. Ability to practices discretion and understand appropriateness of communication and behaviour.
- Must be an enthusiastic leader, team player with an innovative approach.
- Able to work under pressure and be prepared to work in a fast moving and aggressive environment where key objectives need to be met on pre-agreed timescales.
- Associate coaching and development skills (i.e. providing constructive feedback and setting expectations of associate).
- Attention to detail, Time management skills and Organisational skills.
- Exhibit high level of proficiency with MS Office software.
