Infrastructure Solution Architect - BPO

Key responsibilities will include:

- Evaluate multiple different options for possible solutions from commercial-off-the-shelf products to custom-developed systems

- Provide implementation estimates and cost / benefit trade-offs for each option

- Work with the The Organization's, Design and Transition team to understand business requirements and ensure that the solutions fully satisfy the requirements

- Responsible for assessing current technology and communications solutions and products in place in the business and defining (and assisting in implementing) technology products and solutions that deliver efficiencies and cost savings to the business and customers.

Job Description: Infrastructure Solutions Architect

- Working with our global partners to review up to date solutions and products

- Develop and manage a strategy to ensure that all critical information related to new and future products and solutions reaches the appropriate audiences in a timely and concise manner.

- Review the solutions provided by the IT Operations service provider and the IT operations services provided by Organization to its clients

- Work with global purchasing & finance teams to estimate costs and savings from purchase and implementation of new products and solutions

- Deliver presentations related to initiatives for new solutions and products

- Identify gaps in current technology and communications solutions and products and propose solutions to close these gaps.

- Cooperates with project managers, application owners and department managers within IT department and across other departments to ensure all changes are understood and managed.

- Represent the Technology design function in meetings with our customers. Working with our customers to come up with effective solution designs.

- Will take part in any presales work required from Technology

- Refining the standards for Solution Design

- Provide technical guidance to the team

- Provide accurate estimates, challenging requirements where necessary

Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications:

- Proven track record in designing / architecting solutions that meet business needs and provide measurable business value

- Collaborate with the Solutions team to provide design inputs for new RFPs and new opportunities with existing customers

- High degree of technical knowledge across a wide range of platforms, products and technologies

- Significant analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills

- Knowledge of / experience with Microsoft technologies including Windows, Office, SharePoint, SQL Server, Analysis Services,

- Knowledge of / experience with networking technologies including MPLS, Metro E, understanding of LAN/WAN protocols.

- Experience in network design, voice architecture, desktop services and end-user support.

- Knowledge of / experience with Telecoms services and systems.

- Awareness of broader IT landscape including emerging technology trends and standards

- 5 years minimum experience in a senior technical role.

- ITIL certified as well as other relevant technical certifications.

- Knowledge of industry relevant frameworks and methodology around infrastructure services

- Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT or Electrical / Electronics engineering
