The team is primarily responsible to work with sales teams, prospects & clients, alliance partners to design optimum business solutions /proposals to offer them and source S&P related professional services from Infosys BPO. The team’s contributions support pre-sales, during transition and post sales services delivery support to the clients making it one of the most important teams influencing in-bound supply chain businesses of clients and as part of fastest growing business for IBPO.  - The role provides great opportunities to aspirants for acquiring international supply chain experience, knowledge of procurement applications, consulting and business development skills, creating intellectual capital in addition to re-use of legacy S&P knowledge which one may carry with him/her.  Role summary:  - A mid-level pre-sales and practice development role to help build best in class S&P organizations for our clients.  - The incumbent will influence, support and drive lead selling of purchasing services to C level executives of prospects & clients (majorly across Europe, US & APAC).   - In addition, the incumbent will contribute widely in the augmenting S&P thought leadership. This is an individual contributor role requiring high team working abilities and flexibility.  How does this role adds value:  The role adds value by achieving business objectives across following 5 areas:  - Grow revenue  - Win new clients  - Support retention of existing clients through innovative and transformational ideas  - Support clients to reduce their spend and improve S&P capability, maturity and performance  - Create S&P intellectual assets (on-line and off-line) through usage of thought leadership   Key opportunities & challenges facing this role in next 6 months to 2 years:  Key opportunities that the role can contribute is to:  - Grow non-linear business growth in APAC and Europe in particular  - Create such frameworks, approaches, partnership with alliance partners that provide competitive advantage to S&P SD in designing unique solutions and offer unmatched  Primary areas of responsibilities:  - Conduct market analysis and provide opportunities assessment in S&P outsourcing, procurement consulting and procurement applications market niches  - Understand & document client/prospect requirements (objectives, challenges, deliverables etc.) through RFx documents, emails, and other collaterals/information gathered etc.   - Create structured S&P proposals/solutions independently and with innovative ideas  - Present proposals/solutions to clients/prospects/internal stakeholders in a way that articulates value delivery from Infosys clearly   - Manage internal stakeholder expectations (comprising mainly of sales, services delivery, operations, finance, CoE , S&P practice) through PDCAF (plan-do-check-act-feedback) approach  - Research and bring out best practices based frameworks, approaches for Sourcing as well as Procurement steams  - Calculate sourcing, transaction and compliance level savings based on benchmarks, heuristics and guidance from experts within the team  - Write S&P centric POVs, blogs and support other promotional channels to generate market visibility   - Support S&P due diligence (DD) and transitions   - Take up short to medium term on-site projects on consulting/billable basis as and when required (this will include category management, strategic sourcing , P2P & other procurement capability, maturity and transformation projects)  - Travel (international and domestic sectors) for average 25% of the time.  Knowledge & Skills Desired:  S&P Domain related:  - Indirect/MRO / Direct materials and services sourcing and procurement experience in industries (manufacturing, services, consulting etc.)  - Additional sourcing, category management experience in Indirect categories would be an added advantage. Good English communication skills.   - Stakeholder management and in cross cultural context  - S&P BPO operations experience in Category management support, sourcing support and end to category management for low value spend categories   - Hands on experience on procurement platforms e.g. Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Buyer, SAP-SRM etc.   - Business finance and commercial models understanding relevant to S&P (e.g. cost break down sheets, TCO analysis, supplier comparison weighted average models etc.)  - Creating global and regional category strategies based on supply market research.   - Evaluating category and supplier performance.   - Evaluate overall sourcing and procurement performance.  - Solution/Account Management/Consulting background   Soft skills related:  - Relationship building   - Communication   - Analytical   - Leadership   - Cross cultural   - Presentation  - Business development  - Problem solving, structured thinking   - Ability to work as individual contributor largely   Education and professional qualifications desired:   - MBA / PGDM / CPIM / CPM / CSCP etc. with minimum work experience of 6-8 years.
